FREEmium Wordpress Theme 1.0 RELEASED!

There are hundreds of premium wordpress themes on the web waiting to be paid for. Some of them are worth it, some are not. FREEmium wordpress theme is definitely worth paying for. But guess what! We’re giving it away for free. How sweet is that?

We wanted it to be as customizable as possible. We worked really hard to make it work and look good on most of popular browsers. We’re not sure if we managed to achieve that. It should look good on Safari, FF 3.0x, Opera. Not sure about IE6 - but you can never be sure about this one. More features are listed below.

How to put title photos in my blog posts?

To display photos in posts on the main page, you have to add a custom field with the name of “image” and input a full URL to it as a value. Image should be 350×200px. Take a look at the image below to get the idea.

We’re back with another icon set. But first of all we’d like to thank you for all the feedback, comments and of course for all the downloads (1800 in just a few days!). Ok, now let’s get to the point. Baggy Icon Set was designed by Paul Kadysz. It contains 5 high quality icns. This time we’ve got 3 different formats (.ico, .icns and .png) and 6 sizes! 512px-16px (except .png). Here’s how the set looks like.

I hate red icons! I want them blue!

Well, we’ve figured that not all of you will like the red color so we made it really easy to change. Just open any .png file included in the set in Photoshop. Than go to Image - Adjustment - Hue / Saturation and drag the Hue bar to the left or right depending on what color you want.

Baggy Icon Set is coming soon to freebiesdock.com

We’re so glad that you like OldSchool Icon Set, that we decided to release another set soon. Baggy Icon Set like the OldSchool Set will also contain six icons. Six different kind of bags. Set will be released in two formats (.png & .ico) and will of course be free.

A Little Preview of Baggy Icons

To give an idea of what we’re working on, here’s a little preview. First two icons are almost ready. A backpack and a suitcase. Icons will be released in 5 sizes 256px, 128px, 64px, 32px and 16px so they should fit anykind of website or software. You’ll also be able to easily change the color of each icon.

Here it is! The OldSchool Icon Set has finally been released! Free of charge! OldSchool Icon Set was created and developed by me, Paul Kadysz and brought to you thanks to FreebiesDock.com. I’ve been working on them since April 2008. I decided that six is enough and it’s time to release the set.

How did I get the idea? There’s a lot of free icon sets containing modern, shiny icons. Servers, hard disks, consoles, globes, speakers, LCD screens, etc. But what about good old times? Why not to have an icon of an old school camera on your desktop? I started with the TV icon and than got some ideas from friends. That’s how those six were created:

It’s simply a collection (it will be) of completely free design resources. All the products you’ll see here were created exclusively for FreebiesDock and you won’t see them anywhere else. Who created FreebiesDock.com?

Well, to be honest it was just me. My name is Paul. I’ve been a graphic designer for over 5 years now. I always wanted to make the web look beautiful. And there’s no better way to do that than releasing free, high quality design resources once in a while. So I designed this website. Tom Bielawski made it run on Wordpress and here it is.
